AFSCME Local 749 represents more than 1,500 dedicated public employees in the state Judicial Branch, Division of Criminal Justice and Division of Public Defenders Services. We are affiliated at the state level with Council 4 AFSCME, headquartered in New Britain, CT, and at the national level with AFSCME, headquartered in Washington, DC.
