Local 749 and Council 4 are aware of the offensive and erroneous report the Judicial Branch has issued attacking our members that are court reporters and monitors. A copy of the report’s recommendations is below on this page. A working committee has been formed to gather facts to contradict the report. The first meeting took place on Wednesday February 9 at Council 4.

Another meeting occurred on February 23.  Following that meeting, a member, Linda O'Neill, sent out this open letter.

More meetings will follow and when information is available to give to members, the Local and the Council will schedule a meeting for all to attend.
